《Rift09》さんは、グァテマラの人というヴェイパーウェイヴのアーティストです。2021年から活動されているようです（☆）。
そして『リミナルスペース』は、その比較的初期の作品。全8曲・約19分を収録というEPサイズのアルバムです。
このリフト09さんの音楽は、いつも温かみあるリスナーにやさしい響き……と、感じていますが。その現在までの作品らの中でも、この『リミナルスペース』は、コンセプトとスタイルがぴたりマッチした傑作として目だっています。
むだのいっさいない、ミニマルな構成が光っています。
ゆえにでしょう、この22年2月、《GULF SPA》レーベルからカセットとして再発されました。それを記念し、この場でもご紹介です！
さて、今作のタイトルとなっている、《リミナルスペース》ということば。
そのように名づけられたイメージや概念などが、ただいま流行り気味──ということを、以前ちらりとお伝えしましたが（★）。
まさにその荒涼とした情景らを眺めている、私たちの不安、そしてふしぎな安らぎ。それらが何であるのかよくは分からないもうろうとしたサウンドとして、ここに《在る》のです。

Rift09 is a vaporwave artist who is from Guatemala and has been working since 2021.
And 『リミナルスペース』 (Liminal Space) is his relatively early work. It is an EP-sized album with 8 tracks and 19 minutes in total.
I feel that Rift09's music always has a warm and listener-friendly sound. And among his works to date, 『リミナルスペース』 stands out as a masterpiece that perfectly matches the concept and style.
The minimalist composition, with no wasted space, is glorious.
Perhaps this is why, in February 2022, it was reissued on cassette by the GULF SPA Records. In commemoration of this, we are pleased to introduce it here as well!
And the title of this work is "Liminal Space".
We are looking at these desolate scenes and feeling anxious, and also a strange sense of peace.
They "exist" here as a hazy sound that we are not sure what they are...!
