《ROMBREAKER》、ロムブレイカーは、スイスの人だと称しているヴェイパーウェイヴ・クリエイターです。おそらく2017年から活動中のようです（☆）。
この2020年にアルバムを7コ発表するなど、ロムブレイカーさんは生産性の高いアーティストです。
それらの中にはIDM風やチルハウス的なスタイルのものがありますが、主要部はクラシックヴェイパーです（★）。じっさいその部分が、彼のもっとも美味なスイートスポットだと考えられます。
そして、“Summer Pain”はロムブレイカーさんの、最新に近いアルバムです。全6曲・約35分を収録しています。
そして彼が崇拝している《haircuts for men》に近いスタイルで、そこには、夏の日の想い出たちと、そして苦い悔恨が表現されています。秀作です！
ところでこのロムブレイカーさんの作品らには、少しまた別の特徴があります。
それは、〈他のヴェイパー音楽に比較し、なぜか音が大きく聞こえる〉ということです。

分析してみたところ、彼の作品らは、マスタリングあたりの段階でコンプレッサー等がきつめにかけられているようです。通常のヴェイパー音楽家たちは、ここまで強い処理をすることが多くありません。
また、この処理が極端さをきわめると、俗に《海苔波形》と呼ばれるサウンドができてしまうことを、多くの皆さんはご存じでしょう（☆）。じっさいロムブレイカーさんの昨年のアルバム“The Leftover”は、みごとな海苔波形のトラックらを含んでいます。
そして、海苔波形によって象徴される《音圧戦争》の悪評を、多くの皆さんはご存じでしょう。じっさい“The Leftover”はやりすぎで、少々気分の悪いサウンドになっていますかも知れません。
しかしその極端さを克服した上での、ロムブレイカーさんの現在です。彼のことしのリリースらは、不自然にならない限りで音圧を増やすことに成功していると考えられます。
じっさい巧妙で、どういう処理をしているのか尋ねて、私が参考にしたいくらいです！（笑い）

ROMBREAKER is a Vaporwave creator who claims to be a Swiss person. Probably he has been active since 2017.
Rombreaker is a highly productive artist, with seven albums released in 2020.
Some of them are IDM-style or Chillhouse-style, but the main part is the Classic Vapor. In fact, that part is considered to be his most delicious sweet spot.

By the way, the works by Rombreaker have a little different characteristics.
That is, “For some reason, the sound sounds louder than other Vapor music”.
When I analyzed it, it seems that his tracks are processed quite strongly by a compressor etc. at the stage of mastering. Ordinary Vaporwave musicians don't often do this hard.
Also, many of you know that if those processes become extreme, it will result in a tragic battle commonly referred to as the "Loudness War". In fact, his 2019 album, “The Leftover”, may sound a bit sick because it's too extreme.
However, after overcoming that extreme, Rombreaker is now. His latest releases are believed to have succeeded in increasing loudness as long as they don't sound unnatural.
